From 1967 to 1975 "Livin' Blues" with their blues-boogie-rock and shuffle music
was really hot! Hits like Wang Dang Doodle, LB Boogie and Black Liza conquered Holland
and the rest of Europe and the band performed with pop giants like Steve Lukather
(Toto), Peter Green (Fleetwood Mac), Desmond Dekker, Canned Heat, Adje van den Berg
(White Snake),
Thijs van Leer (Focus) and many others.
Since a few years, frontman Nicko Christiansen renamed his band as Livin' Blues
Xperience and returned on the major jazz and blues festivals in the Netherlands
and Europe like the Park Pop festival in the Hague with over 150.000 visitors and
the majestic Svetlanov theatre in Moscow with over 2000 seats. In 2008 the band
did various tours in Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Spain and even Indonesia and released
in the meanwhile their new album "This is the time".
In 2009 the band was voted by the readers of the blues magazine "Two Blues" as best
international blues band in Poland.
