From 1967 to 1975 “Livin’ Blues” with their blues-boogie-rock and shuffle music was really hot! Hits like Wang Dang Doodle, LB Boogie and Spoonful conquered Holland and the rest of Europe and they performed with pop giants like Steve Lukather (Toto), Peter Green (Fleetwood Mac), Desmond Dekker, Canned Heat, Jan Akkerman and Thijs van Leer (Focus) and many others. In 1980 the original band members started other projects but each time they returned to continue their Livin’ Blues life.
Some years ago, frontman Nicko Christiansen formed a new Livin' Blues band, now named Livin' Blues Xperience and not without success, looking at their appearances in Holland and Europe like at Parkpop Festival in The Hague with 150.000+ visitors, their performance at the majestic Svetlanov theatre in Moscow Russia and at the Noc Bluesawa festival Poland.
